Medical Team
Our medical team consists of four Consultants, one Specialist Doctor, two Advanced Nurse Practitioners and a GP trainee who all work on rotation. They are experts in palliative care and are able to assess and provide advice on complex symptom issues related to illness.
The medics work as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team, caring for patients on the Inpatient Unit at Dorothy House in Winsley. They also provide a consultancy service to the Royal United Hospital in Bath and ensure that the best palliative care can be accessed across our area.
Additionally, our medical team also provides support via the Dorothy House 24hr Advice Line (0345 0130 555) and can give telephone advice, where necessary to patients, family members, GPs, District Nurses and carers.
