The Children and Young People’s Service at Dorothy House Hospice Care is holding a special youth event in April.

On Saturday, 1 April, from 2-5pm students currently in secondary school who have been bereaved of a parent at the Hospice, at any point, are invited to come and give us some ideas. We’re hosting a laid-back afternoon for young people so we can get your feedback.

The service will be planning some outings for young people, but first, we need to know what activities will float your boat.  What do you want to do? Fancy a free trip to a theme park? Prefer a day of costal adventures? Hopeful to hike the Brecon Beacons? Or perhaps you have some incredible ideas we’ve totally neglected!

We’d love it if you can join us for a couple hours and give us your thoughts. There will be snacks and a smoothy bar to keep the creative juices flowing.

We’ll be meeting up at the Dorothy House Trowbridge Outreach Centre, located right next to the Trowbridge Train Station.

If you can make it, text Megan on 07891 857 036 to let us know you’ll be there. If you have some good ideas, but can’t make it, send them through to my email megan.yakeley@dorothyhouse-hospice.org.uk.

If you don’t fit the criteria for this event, but you know someone who does, please pass the invite along. We’re looking forward to a great afternoon.
