Healthwatch Wiltshire report

Posted by Matt Carter, on November 22 2017 in: News

Healthwatch Wiltshire is the county’s independent health and care champion. It exists to
ensure that people are at the heart of care. In 2016 Dorothy House Hospice Care asked Healthwatch Wiltshire to establish and maintain a User Advisory Group (UAG) made up of local volunteers.

The group was established in September 2016 and provides an opportunity for those people who have used our services to express their open and honest opinions – including patients, carers, family members and health professionals. The UAG have visited our sites, met our service users and commented on our policies and our plans. This has provided invaluable feedback which will help us to shape our services and maintain their quality.

We are delighted to be able to share their report into the year they spend with Dorothy House here.
