The plot to plate group enjoyed a lovely morning at Whitehall today, purchasing green manure to overwinter at the allotment. Of course yummy cakes were consumed too!
Derrick, our volunteer, was this week awarded his winner rosette for all his great efforts at the allotment. A good tidy up and tool cleaning took place along with coffee and cake of course!
Another warm and sunny morning at the allotment in Trowbridge. We were delighted to welcome John Davies, Jayne Chidgey-clark and Louise Clapton today to award winner rosettes to each allotment member for their fantastic achievments this year.
This weeks bumper harvest was kindly taken to the winsley kitchens by Gerry Ford. We will also be using allotment leeks, carrots and courgette in this weeks OT led Cook, Eat & Share Group.
At an evening ceremony the plot to plate group were proud to collect our five awards and receive the Lisa Denny Trophy for outstanding achievement! Well done everyone!!
