This year everyone is invited to the party! We are opening the Bath Moonlight Walk to women AND men for the first time ever.

Join our 8km walk back to the 80s on Saturday 15 September.

Dorothy House’s legendary Bath Moonlight Walk starts at 10pm from SouthGate shopping centre with a route that takes in the main sights of the vibrant city of Bath. Beforehand it’ll be party central from 8.30pm with freebies, raffle, fabulous merchandise, 30% off food in selected restaurants, entertainment and our mass participation Moon Walk!


Walkers (aged 14+)
Early Bird entry fee  – £15 (up to and including Monday 30 July)
Standard entry fee – £20 (available from Tuesday 31 July, up to and including Sunday 9 September)
Late entry fee  – £25 (available from Monday 10 September)

Last year, thanks to the amazing efforts of all who took part, Dorothy House Hospice Care raised over £60,000 to help fund vital patient care.

In 2018 we want to raise even more than 2017 – and have an even better time along the way! As the registration fee covers the logistics of running the event you have the choice to:
– Pledge to raise a minimum of £40 in sponsorship
– Make a personal donation in lieu of sponsorship (the amount is your choice but we suggest a minimum of £40)

Booking details

Terms and conditions

All entrants must complete and sign a registration form or enter online before taking part. The deadline for the submission of paper entry forms is Friday 7 September 2018 and the deadline for online entry is Thursday 13 September 2018.

Places are strictly limited and entrants are NOT permitted to register on the night of the event. Entrants must be aged 14 and over. Children aged 16 years and under must be accompanied by a paying adult who will be responsible for their safety throughout the event.

The early bird entry fee for the Bath Moonlight Walk is £15 up to and including Monday 30 July 2018. From Tuesday 31 July the standard entry fee will be £20 up to and including Sunday 9 September. Thereafter the late entry fee will be £25.

All entrants are asked to raise at least £40 in sponsorship. By participating in this event, all entrants agree to raise sponsorship or to make a personal donation in lieu of raising sponsorship.

The entry fee covers expenses only and is non-refundable.

All sponsorship to be submitted by Friday 16 November 2018.

Any entrant who is unable to take part in the event should notify Dorothy House as soon as possible.

Any entrant considering using a mobility scooter should consult with Emily Knight, Events Fundraiser, before signing up.

Entrants are responsible for their own medical condition, ensuring they are fit to complete the walk within the three-hour time limit.

Please consult your doctor if you are in any doubt about your medical suitability.

Entrants are responsible for making their own way home after the walk. Please remember that this will be at approximately midnight and public transport will not be available. Dorothy House staff cannot arrange transport.

A photographer(s) will be in attendance at the event and will be taking promotional photography that may be used to promote the work of the Hospice. The photographs may be used in press, social media, website or printed material. The photographers will be easily recognisable in clearly labelled fluorescent tabards. If you do not wish to appear in publicity material , please make yourself known to the photographer.

By entering the event you agree to follow the reasonable directions of Dorothy House Hospice Care, the event marshals, and abide by the Terms and Conditions of entry for the Moonlight Walk.

Dorothy House Hospice Care reserves the right to cancel this event at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.

All participants walk at their own risk.

In no event shall Dorothy House Hospice Care be liable for any injuries, loss or damages whatsoever, including indirect, punitive, special, incidental or consequential losses connected with any aspect of this walk.
