10 February, 2019
2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
If you’ve never visited Great Chalfield, to see the wonderful array of snowdrops in February then this is your chance – and if you have, then we know you’ll want to come back!
The grounds are normally not open until April but the National Trust has very kindly agreed to the 15th century manor house opening on Sunday 10 February (2pm – 4pm) in aid of Dorothy House Hospice to raise much needed funds for us to continue to offer care, and support, to terminally ill patients and their families.
It’s just £5 to walk the glorious grounds spotting snowdrops in the romantic gardens offering terraces, topiary houses, gazebo, lily pond, and views across the spring-fed fishpond and you are also welcome to visit the family Parish Church – not forgetting the opportunity to purchase a hot drink and scrummy homemade cake to complete the enjoyment of your day!
