Light up a Life

Each year we decorate our stunning Christmas tree at Winsley with glowing lights that are dedicated to the memory of our loved ones, as we celebrate Light up a Life.

This is such a special time for us and all year we look forward to sharing this season with our community.

Each dedication and donation you make helps to ensure our Hospice can keep supporting patients and their families across our community, when they need us most.

£35 could pay for 1 hour of bereavement support or counselling, to help a patient or a family member cope with life at such a difficult time.

£57 could pay for a patient to stay as independent as possible by providing a physiotherapist who will help them to live well and stay active.

£72 could pay for 2 hours of a Nurse Specialists’ care. Our Nurse Specialists are highly experienced in palliative care and ensure that our patients are fully supported as they live with a life-limiting illness.

Your donation is a legacy, on behalf of someone you wish to remember. This legacy will help to create special moments, right now, for patients who are living with a life-limiting diagnosis.

By receiving outstanding care, support and respite, families, patients and carers have more time to create treasured memories together.

You have continued to give us your unwavering support, through such a difficult time, and we are so grateful to each of you. But the ongoing effects of the pandemic mean that your help is needed now, more than ever. As the future of fundraising is so uncertain and income is currently in decline, your dedication is vital to ensure that we will be here for those that need our care.
