Safeguarding

Dorothy House is committed to safeguarding every adult and child who uses our services. We work in an open and transparent way and encourage staff, volunteers, patients and families to raise any concerns about wellbeing.

Unfortunately, abuse can take many forms and may happen in any setting. It can include financial abuse, emotional, physical and sexual abuse, domestic abuse and neglect.

If you are worried that you, or a child or adult that you know, may be being neglected or abused, please talk to a member of staff or to our Safeguarding Lead on 0345 0130 555.

We will listen to your concerns and talk to you about what happens next. In certain situations, we may need to pass on the information you share, but we will always do this in consultation with you.
