Dorothy House is proud to work with The Local Hospice Lottery. An award-winning, sector leading, non-profit organisation that is growing year on year. They are currently looking to fill a Fundraising vacancy.

Local Hospice Lottery raised almost £600,000 for Dorothy House last year!

Approximately £30,875 could fund our Hospice at Home service for one week, enabling patients to remain in the peace, comfort and familiarity of their own home at the end of their life.

If so, we are looking for people like you to join our Local Hospice Lottery fundraising team.
As a fundraiser you will talk confidently and passionately about the amazing work done by local hospices, engaging with and inspiring members of the public to join a lottery that provides vital ongoing support.

Our fundraisers come from a variety of different working backgrounds, but we do have one thing in common, we are all incredibly passionate about the work that we do.

While we’d love to speak to people with previous fundraising or sales experience, you don’t need to have any previous experience. We believe the right personality is more important than your CV.

We will provide a full induction and training. Following this, you will be given regular field support to help you develop your skills and achieve your absolute best.

For all your amazing work we offer:

  • Basic Salary of £21,366 FTE (equivalent to £10.93 per hour)
  • Full-time and part-time roles available
  • Competitive and generous bonus structure – where realistic earnings can be in excess of £30k
  • Monthly Bonus payments
  • Paid travel time to and from the field + Paid mileage allowance
  • 25 days annual leave on appointment (rising to 27 days after 2 years and 30 after 5 year plus) pro-rated for part-time
