Our Annual Report and Accounts sets out our financial information for 2022/23. This includes information about new projects and initiatives throughout the year and how we raised and spent our funds.

Our Annual Impact report for FY2022/23 provides an overview of how we have cared for our community, collaborated with health and social care partners, and taken important steps towards our mission for everyone to have access to outstanding palliative and end of life care.

Last year (2021/22), approximately a third of our care was funded by NHS contracts and, along with other NHS care providers, we produce reports on the quality of our services annually. Our Quality Account ensures that our patients and their families are safe and well-supported and that NHS money is being used efficiently to provide the highest standards of care.

Dorothy House  is committed to providing the highest quality of palliative and end of life care.

We are regularly inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to ensure that we meet service-specific standards. The CQC is an independent regulator of health and adult social care in England with an aim to improve and maintain better standards of care.

Our last inspection report was published in January 2017 and we were rated as Outstanding. In July 2021 the CQC undertook a review of our data and confirmed that our rating as ‘Outstanding’ remains unchanged.

Our ‘Outstanding’ rating also remains unchanged for 2022. Our latest inspection report was published in August 2022 and can be viewed below.

The Dorothy House Newsletter is our regular print/e-publication that we produce for our supporters.
