We believe everyone with a life-limiting illness should be supported to live well. Our holistic approach means we prioritise wellbeing, relaxation and independence. We offer a range of therapies and treatments tailored to meet individual needs and, where appropriate, can also be accessed by families and carers.

Complementary Therapy

These treatments are provided alongside conventional medical support to help patients – and their loved ones – to relax and feel better. We currently offer aromatherapy, reflexology, Reiki, Bowen therapy, massage and Qigong.

Occupational Therapy

Our occupational therapists help support patients and their families to live well and achieve things that are important to them. For many people, this means staying as independent as possible and maintaining a sense of normality. This could involve anything from adapting a patient’s home to supporting them to access community services, such as shops.

Our physiotherapy team helps maintain and improve patients’ independence. This might include walking and mobility, and managing related symptoms, such as fatigue, breathlessness, anxiety, pain and disturbed sleep.

The team works in a fully fitted and adapted gym, in one-to-one sessions and at clinics. Team members support group programmes and hydrotherapy sessions.
