Paws in the Park Competition Terms and Conditions

How to enter

  • Entries should be submitted by direct message (Facebook and Instagram) or emailed to events@dorothyhouse-hospice.org.uk.
  • The competition will close at midnight on Wednesday 19 May 2024. Any submissions received after this date cannot be entered into the competition.
  • You will have 4 opportunities to enter per dog.
  • The entries will be judged by a panel of Dorothy House staff and the winning dog photo will be announced publicly when the event launches in June.
  • All entries will be notified by Friday 31 June.
  • Dorothy House will credit the winning entry online.
  • You do not need to be a professional photographer to enter this competition, however we recommend sending us good quality, high-resolution photos.
  • If your dog is selected as the winner, we may ask you to travel to Winsley, just outside of Bradford-on-Avon, for a photo shoot the week commencing 10 June. By submitting your entry, you are agreeing to this condition.

Terms and Conditions

  • You must be 18+ to enter.
  • The winning dog will need to be at least one-year old at the time of the October Paws in the Park event to take part.
  • Free entry will be granted to the household, i.e. we will offer free entrance to adults, children and multiple dogs that are considered as one household.
  • All photos will be credited online.
  • There is no cash alternative or transferable prize.
  • The winner agrees that we can use their photos/comments for future purposes, including promotional photographs, for example on (but not limited to) our website, social media and in our newsletters.
  • The winner understands that their photos are being used to promote the Paws in the Park event and will appear in promotional materials, including print and online, to help Dorothy House reach yearly fundraising targets.
  • By entering, the participant agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
