Who can participate?
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must be no taller than 6ft 2” (1.88m)
- You must be no heavier than 14 stone (89kg) (with clothing)
- Your waist measurement, whilst wearing warm clothing and a jacket must be less than 40 inches
- You must be able to climb completely unassisted up to and down from the top wing of one of our Boeing Stearman biplanes.
- This is a steep climb of approximately 10ft / 3m, but you will be given full guidance by our professional wingwalker
- You have not suffered from any of the following conditions: Epilepsy, fits, severe head injury, recurrent blackouts, fainting fits or giddiness, disease of the brain or nervous system, high blood pressure, heart or lung disease, recurrent weakness or dislocation of any limb, diabetes, mental illness, drug or alcohol addiction
How much does it cost?
There is a registration fee of £150 to pay at the time of booking through Dorothy House Hospice Care. You are then asked to raise a minimum of £700 for Dorothy House. Those who fail to raise the minimum sponsorship amount will not be permitted to participate in the challenge.
The registration fee is non-refundable and places are non-transferable. At least 50% of the total £850 will be donated to Dorothy House with
the remaining money covering the cost of the experience.
A Wingwalking experience with a highly experienced pilot.
You will receive a full pre-flight briefing including hand signals and details instructions on breathing techniques and use of the rig.
Upon completion of the challenge, you will receive a personalised Wingwalking certificate.
On the day of your Wingwalk friends and family are welcome to come and watch this once-in-a-lifetime experience. There is a viewing area and cafe facilities available until late afternoon. Flights will start from 10.30am onwards and you will be allocated a time nearer to the date.
As an optional extra cost of £50, you can have a recording as a lasting remainder of your flight. This is taken by two high resolution cameras fitted to the aircraft which includes pilot commentary. This is supplied on a USB memory stick for you to take away. This can only be arranged with the airfield directly on the day.

IMPORTANT – Please read before signing and returning your form: By registering for the Dorothy House Wingwalk, you have agreed to the following Terms and Conditions
Participation in this event requires you to raise the minimum sponsorship of £700 for Dorothy House Hospice Care by Wednesday 7 July 2021. You must keep Dorothy House informed of your fundraising progress and understand that the £700 sponsorship is in addition to and separate from the registration fee.
The registration fee is non-refundable and places are non-transferable. Wingwalkers must be between 18 and 75 years old. If you are between 65 and 75 years old you must supply a doctor’s note on the day.
You must weigh less than 14 stone (89kg) and no taller than 6ft 2” (1.88m). You must be able to climb up the aircraft and through the struts to a height of 10ft. You will be required to complete a medical form and sign a declaration on the day of the challenge with the team at the venue.
If you have any pre-existing medical conditions you should consult your doctor before purchasing or booking your flight. You cannot take part if you have or suffer from any of the following; epilepsy, fits, severe head injury, blackouts, fainting or giddiness, disease of the brain or nervous system, high blood pressure, heart or lung disease, recurrent weakness or dislocation of any limb, diabetes, mental illness, drug or alcohol addiction.
Wingwalking is an adventure experience and participation in such experiences necessarily involves a risk of injury or death regardless of the standard of training, supervision and equipment employed. By registering, you voluntarily accept all the risks inherent in the experience and agree for you and your personal representatives to indemnify and hold harmless Aerobatic Tactics Ltd and Dorothy House against any claim or claims whether on your own account or from third parties arising out of any accident or incident resulting in any loss or damage (including bodily injury and death).
On the day, dependent on the temperature we recommend that you wear T-shirt/ fleece/wind jacket, light trousers, jeans or leggings, trainers or light weight shoes. NO hoodies, boots or heels. More comprehensive information will be supplied when you receive the airfield arrival details nearer the time of your flight.
Should the weather be unsuitable for wingwalking on the day it will be up to the wingwalker to return to the aerodrome on another occasion(s) if necessary to complete their wingwalk.
No alcohol is permitted at the airfield. Please be responsible the night before your flight. Do not arrive intoxicated.

I also confirm I will raise the sponsorship money required and forward this to Dorothy House Hospice Care by Wednesday 7 July 2021 at the latest.

How do you fancy taking on the challenge of a Wingwalk?
Flown by one of the Aerosuperbatics Wingwalking display pilots, you will take to the skies on the top wing of one of our Boeing Stearman biplanes and experience an exciting series of flypasts, zoom climbs, steep dives and banks in front of the family and friends you bring along on the day.
