UPDATE – 9 January 2023 – Bookings for our Christmas tree collections are now closed. Thank you to everyone who has booked with us – we’ll see you at the weekend!

As the festive season draws surprisingly closer, one of our most popular fundraising events is back! That’s right – we’ll be out and about collecting your Christmas trees this coming January!

Our team, supported by our amazing volunteers, will be out in our community over the weekend of the 13/14/15 January 2023. Simply click here, enter your postcode and follow the instructions to register your tree. Our team will then collect your tree and take it to be chipped, shredded and recycled, or put to good use in various locations across Wiltshire.

Tree collections will take place in the following postcodes:

BA1, BA2, BA3, BA4, BA11, BA12, BA13, BA14, BA15, SN11, SN12, SN13, SN14, SN15 and BS31

Why register your tree?

There are multiple reasons why signing up to have your Christmas tree collected is such a fantastic idea. You’ll be avoiding all of those pesky needles in your car, and those seemingly endless post-Christmas queues at the tip, for starters. However, the best reason of all is that you’ll be supporting your local hospice. The donations that we receive from our Christmas tree collections are essential in helping us continue to provide our outstanding care, both here at the Hospice and out in our community.

Help us smash our target this year!

In 2022, with the help of 199 volunteers, we collected 4,280 trees over a single weekend, raising a total of £63,545! This year, we’re hoping to smash this total, and we would love for you to help us get there!

If you have any questions, or would like to support us by volunteering, we’d love to hear from you. You can get in touch by contacting Clare Way on 01225 721 480 or emailing christmastrees@dorothyhouse-hospice.org.uk.
