The Waverley in Chippenham are excited to be hosting a number of musical events in support of Dorothy House Hospice Care. These fabulous events are listed below.

Wednesday 20 August

August’s musical fundraiser for Dorothy House Hospice Care at The Waverley, Chippenham on Wednesday 20 August marks the one-year anniversary of this event. We will have a special live performance from Bristol-based musician, Samuel Fox, listening to tracks from his indie-folk project, Mossfellow, and the debut EP ‘Quotidian’ released earlier this year. Samuel lists Nick Drake as a key influence and so we will also listen to Nick’s 1969 debut LP ‘Five Leaves Left.’ Arrive by 7.30pm to get a drink and a good seat ready for the music starting at 8.00pm.

Wednesday 29 October

Elvis Costello ‘My Aim Is True’ [1977] plus Silver Sklylarks ‘The Number One Set And Sound’ [2024]. Regular attendees, Shane & Jim, will each discuss and play a favourite LP.

Wednesday 19 November (details TBC)

Local musician Lunda will attend to discuss new music from her group and choose another ‘classic’ album for us to listen to.
