Dorothy House opens Superstore and Donation Station in Devizes
Ahead of our 50th anniversary in 2026, Dorothy House Retail is delighted to announce the grand opening of the new Superstore and Donation Station in Devizes on Friday 28 November at 10am.
This exciting new retail destination is the largest of our 30 shops and offers a wide selection of donated and new goods, including home, garden and lifestyle, all in one convenient location.
Expanding reach into the community
Situated on the Devizes Garden Trading Estate, with parking available onsite, the new Superstore and Donation Station will play a vital role in raising much-needed funds to support the delivery of end of life care both at the Hospice in Winsley and out in the community.
The third in a line of new shops; a pop-up shop in The Shires, Trowbridge and a new Clearance and Donation Station in Corsham, the Superstore will also host a range of community workshops in 2026.

These workshops will celebrate the sustainable and therapeutic benefits of turning preloved into reloved and showcase the preloved treasures that can be found in store.
“We’re excited to open our second shop in Devizes for Dorothy House Retail and the community.
This outlet is more than just a shop, it’s a one-stop destination where you can find everything you need for yourself, your garden, and your home, all while supporting vital local hospice care.” Rowena Rees, Head of Retail
Opening Hours:
9.30 – 5.00 Monday to Saturday
(Sunday opening to come in 2026)
Address:
Unit 1, Garden Trading Estate, Devizes, Wiltshire, SN10 2HW
Pre-loved donations needed!
Quality donations from the public play a vital role in generating much-needed hospice income. We are always looking out for donations of:
- Children’s and adults’ clothing
- Homewares
- Children’s toys (with a CE mark)
- Furniture (with a visible fire label)
- Books

Unclean, damaged, or incomplete items cannot be sold and must be disposed of, costing Dorothy House vital funds that should be spent on delivering hospice care in our community. For donating goods, please refer to our donation guidelines.
Vital income for end of life care
Last year Dorothy House cared for 4,254 families living with an end of life diagnosis. To continue to be there for our communities in life and death, we need to raise over £19 million each year. Income from retail funded more than £5m of care in 2024, directly supporting services at the Hospice in Winsley, in people’s homes and out in the community.
Threads for Care
The Superstore and Donation Station will also sell our new umbrella brand, Threads for Care; a collection of sustainable collaborations with local makers and up-cyclers, designed to reduce waste and fund vital end of life care.
