Barcelona Half Marathon

The route

The route for the Barcelona Half Marathon takes the runners from the Arc de Triomf, by the old town to the Plaça Catalunya. From there it goes down the famous Ramblas and along Avenida del Paral·lel.  The runners then go to the Fòrum and along the beach again at the Parc de la Ciutadella to Arc de Triomf, which is the finishing line.

It’s flying through the city, gritting your teeth to keep up the pace, even if your legs start to burn from the effort, and raising your arms as you cross the finish line, to celebrate achieving it under the target time. Experience the eDreams Mitja Marató Barcelona as you want it, but run it. But it is also about smiling, watching the scenery and greeting the thousands of fans who come to support the runners, it is running accompanied by your loved ones, or those who have begun to be so from Km 1, and crossing the finish line together, with your arms raised, because you’ve made it.
