We are hosting two outdoor daytime services for this year’s Light up a Life in the grounds of Dorothy House in Winsley.
Service information
Our Winsley Light up a Life Services will be held on Sunday 26 November at the Hospice in Winsley. The first at 12 noon and then the second at 3pm. This service will include the switching on of the lights on our beautiful Christmas tree.

Numbers for all our Light up a Life services are limited and are available on a first come first served basis only. If you would like to attend please reserve a place by signing up for a free ticket. There are three event choices (including our Bath Abbey service), one for each service time, so please do make sure you select the right service time and location.
Light up a Life – remembering those we love
Light up a Life is a special time of year where we invite our community to join us in remembering their loved ones by sponsoring a light on our beautiful Christmas tree that shines brightly here at Winsley House. Your light is both a lasting legacy, but also a symbol. An offering of light that shines for those that so dearly need it. An offer of compassion and hope to those families who need our help and support now.

Terms and Conditions
All registrants must complete a registration form online on Eventbrite before attending.
The event is outside or at Bath Abbey. Sensible footwear must be worn and care taken. There is a limit to attendees for each event. In no event shall Dorothy House be liable for any injuries, loss or damages whatsoever, including indirect, punitive, special, incidental or consequential losses connected with any aspect of this event.
Attendees should be aware that photographs taken during the run may be used to promote the event and the work of the hospice. If an attendee does not wish to be photographed, they should inform the official photographers and social media team (who will be clearly identifiable), and they will be supplied with a discrete lanyard so that their preferences are adhered to at all times. Dorothy House reserves the right to cancel this event at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
