Christmas at Dorothy House 2025

At Dorothy House, we’re well underway with our preparations for a fabulous Christmas! With our annual Christmas Fair, brand new Fire and Lego Walk event, Ubiety at the Bath Christmas Market and our Christmas Tree Collection, there’s something for everyone this festive season.

Dorothy House Christmas Fair

We’d love you to join us at the Hospice in Winsley, on Saturday 6 December from 9am – 1pm for some festive fun at our Christmas Fair. We’ll have a variety of traditional festive stalls to browse and shop from, including festive crafts by local artisans, clothes pop ups, as well as festive treats and refreshments.

Fire and Lego Walk

December sees the launch of Dorothy House’s inaugural Fire and Lego Walk! A challenging but short walk in central Bath on Saturday 6 December. You can choose from hot coals or Lego and conquer body and mind in this exciting family friendly fundraising challenge.

Taking place at the picturesque Beauford Square for an evening of thrills, the Firewalk is open to everyone over the age of 18, and the Lego Walk open to all ages. We know the walk isn’t always easy, both as part of this challenge and in life, but we’ll be there with you every step of the way.

With two Firewalk sessions taking place, the early walk takes place 3pm – 5:30pm and the evening walk takes place 6:00pm – 8:30pm. The Lego Walk will happen throughout the evening from 3pm, meaning anyone over 18 years old taking on the Firewalk can then watch any friends and family take on the Lego Walk before or after their session.

Registration for the Firewalk is £15 and £10 for the Lego Walk. Participants will be asked to raise as much as they can, with a suggestion of £200 for the Firewalk and £100 for the Lego Walk. Sign up here.

Ubiety at the Christmas Market

Always a seasonal favourite, you can find the Ubiety stall at the beautiful Bath Christmas Market. From Thursday, 27 November to Sunday, 14 December, you can shop Ubiety’s range of luxurious vegan body care at the leading UK Christmas Market, surrounded by festive cheer.

Dorothy House Christmas Tree Collection

And once all the festive fun is over, we’re here for you with our Christmas Tree Collection! The Dorothy House Christmas Tree Collection has been running since 2017, and since the very first collection we have collected 32,500 trees and raised over half a million pounds.
