We provide compassionate care and support for people in our community with a life-limiting illness. Our focus is on quality of life, helping patients to live well and die well.
We’re here for anyone in our community who’s facing a life-limiting illness. Using our full breadth of service, we create individual care journeys which start at diagnosis and continue with bereavement support for family, carers and children.
If you’re living with a life-limiting illness or caring for someone, we’re here with practical and clinical information, and emotional support. Whatever your question, find support on all aspects of living with an illness, dying and bereavement. There’s information for families, friends, carers and patients.
We can’t provide frontline hospice care to support people who are living with a life-limiting illness in our community without your help. There’s lots of ways to get involved, so find one that suits you.
As your local hospice, we work to ensure that everyone in our community with a life-limiting illness has access to the best possible end of life care. To do this, we have to raise over £10 million each year. Without your generous donations, our care and services would not be possible.
There are 25 Dorothy House shops across our area selling fantastic pre-loved items and they provide a large part of our income.
We are always grateful for all the amazing donations we receive from our supporters – and of course, all you bargain hunters shopping for great value and unique clothes, books and household items.
IMPORTANT - Currently, our shops can accept up to 5 boxes or bags and we kindly ask that you call ahead before you drop off your donations. Thank you.
