Local pensioner to shave head to raise funds for Dorothy House! 

Soon to be GI Jainsley, Ainsley Davies will brave the shave to raise funds for Dorothy House. 

Sadly, Ainslie’s dear friend Chantal recently lost her fight after a second round of cancer, and spent her final days cared for on the Inpatient Unit at Dorothy House. While Ainslie knew the care provided at the Hospice was good, it was not until she visited Chantal and saw it first hand that she realised it was outstanding. While Ainslie has volunteered for Dorothy House for ten years, she decided she wanted to do something more for the charity, both to help raise funds and thank them for their care for her friend.  

Keen for a new challenge, Ainslie decided to do a sponsored head shave to help raise much needed funds for Dorothy House. She is calling on those whose lives have been touched by the Hospice’s care and compassion to make a donation to her head-shaving event: just visit her JustGiving page here.
