Dorothy House raises over £350,000 in just 36 hours!

On December 7 and 8, 2025, Dorothy House launched the Life Lines Crowdfunding Appeal, a super-sprint campaign, which raised over £350,000 in just 36 hours!

This incredible result was only possible thanks to the unwavering support of our matched funders and our Champions. Every single donation will directly support our core services, ensuring vital, compassionate care for people in our community when they need it most. From home visits to inpatient care, the incredible efforts of our supporters will help us deliver dignity and comfort at life’s most challenging moments.

Our matched funding partners supported us to raise £175,000 in advance of our crowdfunder ‘kick-off’ on December 7. Their generosity inspired confidence among our Champions and supporters, ensuring every donation raised during the 36-hour sprint doubled its impact. Their commitment transformed generosity into life-changing action. Their partnership amplified hope and strengthened the lifeline we provide to patients and families across our community, demonstrating the power of collaboration and the profound difference organisations, businesses and people can make when they stand with us.
